Thanks IROC#1. I couldnt pass them up for that price and I had been looking some. any way to tell if they are the factory ones or repro? the piece above my 3rd break light is broken but not noticeable unless you look for it.
I like the louvers, but I like the other style that has the straight "slits" on the most back part, but a different style louvers on the side...i dont know if you know what I mean...I'll try to find a pic.

Well I have my back window tinted 5% under them so I really cant see anyway. But it seems to block a lot more vision out the back and a lot out the sides then when I just had my tint.

I figured since I had the 3rd I would get the ones that did but for some reason my light doesnt even work (prob just needs a bulb but in school so no time or money!!!) lol But ya i couldnt pass 75 for them since they run what about 300 and up new?
Those do look like factory louvers, Dirk. What piece is cracked? I have spare parts that are brand new.
If you look real close the piece right above my third break light that runs horizontal is not there. It doesnt hurt anything and is barely visible but i dont think there are any "parts" to fix it its just cracked plastic.
BTW. I will get pics posted from inside, havent had the time to get around to it lately due to college starting back up.
Personally I've always hated louvers, there's not many aftermarket options for these cars, and it's hard enough to make them look good.
Making an already bulky rear end, bulkier looking will just completely mess the car up in my opinion. The way I've always judged cars is basically weighing in my mind what's going on at the back and rear, to sort of balance it out.
For example if you go and put on a huge 5 inch spoiler from Hawks Third Gen Parts, with a stock flat hood, it's going to look goofy, and if you add a huge 5 inch cowl hood, with no spoiler, it may look goofy like that too.
I've always figured car looks as a balancing act, too not have too much bulk or too much going on in one spot, to make it flow. Not to get to the point too quick, but them louvers just add way too much bulk in the back, but to each his own!
