here are some pictures. car was in a fender bender. Very minor. Also someone has driven over some high curbs and used the sub frame rails a little too much. Should i scrap the car?

why would you want to scrap it? if its not rusty its worth fixing, some time w/ simple hand tools should fix it or take it to a frame shop, to me it doesent look that bad

i dont want to scrap it. i just dont want to restore the car and have problems down the road. Plus im really picky on what my car looks like both above and underneath. I bought the car with a blown engine and with the damage so i dont know if there are any problems..

Looks like someone jacked the car up in the wrong place. My car was the same way. I also had rust to fix. So you are ahead of the game.

My car had rust in those areas, so when I cut the rust out I was able to get in there and straighten everything out then weld it back up. Check out my build thread in my sig.

My first thought is an alignment - if it will align in the front, I don't see any reason to scrap it.

If you don't like the look of the underside, install lowering springs, and then your fat head won't even fit under there to see it! {it's a joke, lighten up!}

Besides, looks like improper jacking in those areas instead of curb hopping - one day my jack did a small bend up job in the same spot - I've since learned to jack under the differential, or under the coil spring perches in front.

does not look that bad , no bad rust , fix it . if your really concerned take it to a frame shop for a check . FIX IT , good luck .

are you kidding? if you dont want it you can give it to me!!!! but seriously, fix it, there are people here that would KILL for an undercarriage THAT clean

Like........Rust is a BIG no-no here. Too many zero rust cars, to be dicking with a car that has any.

But on-topic......That is totally fixable & zero reason for the car to be scrapped.

I agree fully! Dude seriously! it doesn't look damaged at all! with what you showed that's almost normal for most of these cars, your lucky to have such a clean bottom. But if your that worried about frame damage
(which i doubt there is any) take it to a frame rack its fairly inexpensive, the lowest price i found is $50 to get it on a rack its when they have to do pulls that's when it gets somewhat spendy but still isn't bad. i still plan to hit up the frame rack and have my subframes welded on while the cars on the rack i just feel its a better way of doing it.

Id say fix it but if your looking for a show car and not a DD then you might need to move on.

If every Camaro with that kind of damage was scrapped, there wouldn't be any left.

thats just damage from being jacked up on the rails, my car is like that too, its not a big deal, just make sure there is no rust starting.
