How hard is it to swap vette handles to a 3rdgen?

Ive read a lot of threads about swapping the vette door handles on the thridgens i think they look good, like what Neil did, but i cant seem to find out how hard they are to swap.. is there a lot of fabrication? or is it pretty simple? cause i was going to do vette handles and possibly lambo doors( and def do them right, so they look good) to my 87 IROC after im done with the USMC, so im just curious how hard it is to actually install these things...
