Louvered hood swap
I was hoping someone could give me some info. I have an 87 Camaro 2.8L V6 Sport Coupe. I am wanting to throw a louvered hood on it and was curious about the following:
- Do I need to get a hood from another 87?
- Can I use a hood from a Z28 or RS?
- Can I use a hood from any model from 85 - 90?

Would appreciate some feedback.

You can use any 82-92 camaro hood. The only thing that won't work is an 82-92 firebird hood, and vice versa.

The later hoods seem to be better. The leading edge on a '85 is more blunt where the '89s are sharper and better looking IMO.

It's a small difference but definitely there
