82 to 84 body work help

Hey, I've got a 1984 Trans Am that I need to put a new front nose on. I havent had any luck finding an exact 84 replacement, but I have found a 1982 front bumper.

Question is, will my black panel inserts fit into this? I want to keep it stock as I can , otherwise I would have just thrown a 85-90 nose on, theres a million if those around here. I know that the 82 nose only came with the grill inserts, and my 84 came with the panel inserts. The panels are atill good on my bumper, so if I took them off, would they fit into the 82?

Thanks alot for any help, I appreciate it,
Ryan

Just to help, heres some pics of what I mean:

Those are the grill inserts, while mine are these:

Re: 82 to 84 body work help

They will fit. The 82-84 T/A bumpers are all the same, Just some had Louver'd grills, some had the 'inserts', and some had holes drilled for GFX.

It'll work.

You'll have to drill holes for the GFX but it'll work fine.
