wrecked parts car

Ok first off I have a 92 I cant seem to get a tittle for. I was looking in a classifieds paper and found a 86 z28 complete car with good title. (CHEAP) Problem is that the car has been wrecked and I belive there is some frame damage. Seeing how our cars are uni frame, is there any way I can take the entire frame and front clip off the 92 and put it on the 86? How much welding and fab work do yall belive this would call for, or would it work at all

Re: wrecked parts car

1st.....List your state when ask a question like this so members that know the laws in your state can advise you what your best course of action will be..... 2nd the plan that you have concived in my OPINION wont work, because this would be VERY expensive to get done right, if it can be done at all.....Its not something the average guy can do with a welder in his backyard. I would read heavily into you states DMV site.....the Vette in my avatar I had titling problems with because the VIN plate had been lost by the PO, so even with a title it was a PITA to register......but with some "hoop jumpin" I got it titled and registered. Look into your states vehicle abandonment laws.....thats how a friend of mine got a title for a car he bought off Ebay for a steal...and he wasnt EXACTLY lying when he said that the PO just left the car on his property......
