Paint, aftermarket spoilers, and winter...

Hey guys. My 89 Formula is in dire need of paint: a badly oxidized clearcoat makes the hood and roof look terrible. I'm also in need of an aftermarket wrap around spoiler, the OEM was of course cracked, etc.

So my questions for you guys:
1. As far as aftermarket wrap around spoilers go for our third gens, is Hawks the best place to buy from? 400 is a little more than I was hoping to pay, but if it's a quality product I'll shell out. Anyone had any success with any other fiberglass wrap arounds?

2. Winter and snow are right around the corner for me here in KS, and my bird is my daily driver. Should I tough out the winter with awful oxidation, or go ahead and paint it now? I plan on zaino'ing it immediately after I get it back from the shop. Also, I have the opportunity to get an excellent deal on a good paint job now that will possibly not be available in the spring/summer.

Pics attached below, sorry for the weird angle. The roof is pretty bad, even though you can't see it much. Thanks for your input, guys.

I haven't a clue. I bought from hawks and they are worth it. Oh since you have an 89 firebird minus the spoiler. Is there anything else you need I live fairly close and i have a 1991 donor formula firebird i am parting out and didn't know what else you need. the spoiler on this car was tooken off before i got it. seems i have the same rims as yours are they factory?

They are factory, yes. This formula is actually in pretty decent shape, but I could use a power drivers side mirror. Also what head unit does it have in it? Color/condition of the interior?

Okay its gray in the interior. NO head unit in there. As I took it out for my camaro. The driver side mirror you can have. How much you want to pay for it? Interior is something I would go new myself imo. Its used the condition that i know of no tears on the interior on the floor. The exterior of this car is hunter green. The paint isn't oxidized like yours. Fenders front pass and driver is good as well. But as i See your car :P seems it don't need much work. Daedalous you happened not to be in shadowfist cards are you?

Nope, no idea what those are. I'll definitely keep you in mind in case the unthinkable happens, and I end up needing a fender. I'm not looking to spend too much on the driver's mirror because mine is in decent condition. If it is in fact a power mirror in very good condition, I'd be willing to part with a cool 20 beans for it.

PM sent to iron out details. Still looking for thoughts on the topic of this thread, sorry it derailed a bit there.
