91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

I'm thinking about trying to make reproduction 91+ camaro chin spoilers, but I wanted to see how much interest was there, and how much someone would pay for one before I made a mold and went to all of the trouble.

Let me know what you think.

Re: 91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

New reproductions from Classic Industries are $200 that don't include shipping. I haven't seen a lot of the 91-92 aero gfx around in junkyards. Although I do see them on craigslist. Mine gfx is damaged somewhat and I'm going to repair with bumper kit. I would be willing to pay $140 for new piece. If you can price it between company like classic and what a used one goes for, I think you could sell a lot. I wonder how much shipping would be? I saw one guy on ebay selling gfx that he could bend sides in for easier shipping. Front chin material is very flexible compared to rocker panel gfx.

Re: 91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

$200 is what GM sold them for 14 years ago..
i saw the need for one (back up part) long ago and picked one up.

so the ball park is $200 for a good looking part.
.fit
.looks
.and flex

the rest is up to who adds the color to it.

side Note: a real GM one is for sale on ebay NOS part $400

Re: 91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

it be nice if somebody could make the 91 92 all around gfx for the early model cars that bolt right up without the hassel of doing all the mods

while the idea is good , the sales market is very limited . think about the market you are shooting at . good luck .

Re: 91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

I'd pay up to $200 if not a little more if the quality was there. I'd really be interested in a complete 91/92 GFX kit. You just don't see them in the yards around here. If you do, they are beat or missing pieces.

Re: 91-92 camaro chin spoiler.

I think the demand for them is pretty good. I had 5 people call me up about the nose I was selling and asked if it was the Aero GFX.
