Ground effects compatability

I'm just trying to get a second and third opinoin. I have an 87 GTA and I have a lead on some 89 GTA ground effects. As far as I can remember they are identical, bolts holes etc. Is my memory correct?

As far as i know 85-90 GFX were all exactly the same. But an experienced TGO user needs to chime in..

Re: Ground effects compatability

85-90 Firebird/Trans Am ground effects are all the same so the '89 ground effects would work perfectly for you.

Re: Ground effects compatability

I am new at this and hope I am not too far off base so bear with me. I have a general question about the ground effects on our cars and seeing the gap at the bottom front of Hawkdrivers passenger door reminds me to ask if any of these kits fit flush with the fender or door openings from the factory? The 85 IROC I owned seemed closer in fit and finish but the 88 I currently own is not so close. Also, how do most of you who care about such things massage the ground effects to fit?

Re: Ground effects compatability

If they sat flush with each other you wouldn't be able to open the door.. at least without them hitting..
