paint- flx agent

ok, so when i get my 85 z28 painted (after soda blasting and some body work) i know im supposed to get flex agent put into the paint that goes onto my bumpers but can i get it put into all of my paint? i mean, i havent priced paint but itll cost 500 to get the body soda blasted. when i take my car to get it blasted, the body shop beside the soda blasting place is gonna shave the handle, molding, emblems, got me so far? smooth look...... then paint it whatever color i choose ( either peaerl white with pearl orange racing stripes or the new corvette blue.) SO, after painting the inner fender and engine bay flat black..... and reasembling the front end does it matter if the whole car is sprayed with the flex agent or not... i know this question is drawn out but( kinda feelina buz right now) what do you guys think... thnaks

Re: paint- flx agent

I'm not to familiar with the flex agent, the dealership I worked at never used it and we never had any problems. One thing I will tell you is that alot ot he time, paint lays out different on urethane parts -vs- metal parts....which causes the tint of the paint to be off....sometimes several shades.
