graphics and clearcoat.
i was wondering if anyone has ever clear coated over a graphic? i know that you usually put the graphic on top of the finished clear coat. but I was wondering if you could put down the graphic and then clear coat so you can wet sand and buff like it was painted on.

Re: graphics and clearcoat.
we used some silver stick on pinstriping and it turned out fine, it hasnt peeled or bubbled yet, but im sure if the edges of it were to get dented or something it would start to peel off. But other than that the clear coat over it helped nicely to keep it from coming off the car.

Are you sure about that? I know a few guys who work for teams and they are mostly complete wraps.

Yes the top teams they do use wraps ever where but Daytona and Talladega they do that so the car has less drag they spend a lot of time in a wind tunnel just to pick up 1/10 of a second
