I took my spoiler out on my '85 Trans am,I think it looks way better!!It gives it a wider and meaner look!!What do y'all think,U guys should check it out!
Just keep an eye on your temp gauge in the summer cause the spoiler helps to funnel air into the radiator. So you may end up having an overheating issue.

I was just a little confused. lol. The thing mikey called the spoiler, Isn't. He was referring to the air dam. No worries. And i kinda want to take my spoiler off too. Or get the wrap around T/A one.. Or the hi-rise Camaro spoiler. Can't decide..
Why does everyone hate the flat spoiler??looks a hell of a lot better than a decklid with holes/no spoiler and better than a busted up T/A wrap around.
The wrap around would be nice, but it is a little too expensive for me right now but in my opinion it definitely looks better without the spoiler, but i have seen some of these third gens with a 4th gen spoiler,That looks pretty good too
Oh my bad. I did thing we all do when you assume something. I figured you were talking about the front cause everybody just automatically thinks to pull that one off when they get all busted up on parking bumpers and curbs. I have always liked the T/A high rise spoiled over the short one to. Thinking about trying to find one to put on my camaro when I get to finish up the body on it, some year anyways.
Funny stuff... My first Camaro was a 83 coupe without a spoiler. I didn't like it, so I bought a flat spoiler off a Firebird. I never did get around to installing it, and it's still in the garage after moving several times.
I just never really cared for the no spoiler look. It doesn't really match the lines of thirdgen bodies.
I plan on changing the hatch on my 88 to a 91-92 hatch with the high-inside third brake light and modifing an 87 SS Montie Carlo spoiler onto the car.........just to be different.Have you seen the people who take the flat spoilers and put them upside down under the nose of the car??
