removing Bumper cover + Fenders as one piece

I know this is a time-old question and I have seen 3-4 threads in search about it, BUT, i wanted some clarification and didn't wanna revive a thread from 15 months ago.

It's possible to pull both fenders AND the bumper cover off at once yes? To do this, I remove the xnumber of bolts under the hood on both fenders and xnumber on both door jambs, and possibly a few under each fender...

Now where are the 2? bolts that i want to remove for the bumper cover, and where are the 2? bolts i DON't wanna remove for the bumper cover...

second part of the question, might seem silly, but... after removing these panels as one component, is it able to be reinstalled on a vehicle AS one component, or will I have to remove the bumper cover and put the fenders on first before reassembling?

I really don't see any pros to taking the whole thing off in one piece since there are only four bolts that attach the cover to each fender, BUT, if you have to.....there are at least 2 points where the fender is bolted to the frame near the front. You would have to access them thru the wheel well with the tires and the plastic wheel well guard piece off. Remove the tires and plastic guard and you'll be able to see what I'm talking about. There are lots of nylon rivets that hold the nose to car so be prepared to buy some more after you break them and throw them across the garage. Have fun

correct and you gotta remove the antenna nut too. and the reason i did it is the fasteners that hold the bumper cover too the fender were rusted in place and were twisting the plastic on the bumper cover and i did not want to ruin it.

and they can be reinstalled as one unit as well...also you might wanna have someone else handy. i needed somebody to help me remove and reinstall so i didnt bang it up

you can remove the whole front end as one piece, except the hood. the fender bolts (top and bottom), 8 (i believe) bumper bolts, and possibly some bracing under the bumper. i've done this numerous times on my 85 ta, however it was about 8 or 10 years ago. you don't need another person to do this, i did it by myself.
