you need the bumpers, all the ground effects, the door bracets for the gfx. then you need to locate and drill holes in all the panels to install the parts.
the formy has the same panels, just no mounting holes.
and thats a gta int he pic, a trans am have fender vents behind the front tires.

Why don't people just buy the type of car they are looking for? I don't understand why they want to turn Trans Ams into Formulas and Formulas into GTA's etc. Though if you do go for it I'll glady take that power bulge hood of your hands.

keep your formula as is.. you will be around 150 pounds lighter.. you will need the steel plate welded to you rocker panel.. to install the ground effects
if you still would like to convert.. I have most of my GTA parts for your conversion

I really wish i weighed everything to really compare, but i don't see 150 pounds of an increase. Already done with the swap on my car and that little bit extra on the bumpers weighs probably an additional 10 lbs to each bumper at most, and you can't say the side skirts and that POS stamped steel support that needs to be welded to the rocker panels makes up 130 lbs. I know if you look at the off the lot weights, the trans am weighed more, but i'm willing to bet that it's due to the options inside the car, in addition to the little bit of weight added with the ground effects.
To the OP, same as mentioned before, got a bird really cheap, was on my way to restoring the car to daily driver status, came upon a T/A in the junk yard with complete package and got the entire kit for $100. Other than spending another $20 for the front brackets new from Hawks, i spent less than $150 making my car into T/A standards with the WS6 suspension and all the bells and whistles. Besides what's great about adding weight to the car, is adding horsepower to drown out the loss of performance with the additional weight. I transformed my car, and you can see it in my signature.
