Which red to use?

hello there, well guys i am a proud owner of a 91 z28 that was originally black, but im getting ready to drop it off at the body shop to put a new paint job on her. So my question is what is the best red color i can do the car in, given that it has to be solid red(non metallic) so far my options are between the REAL RED that mazda uses and the VICTORY RED from the corvettes use. Please let me know im dropping it off tomorrow, thank you guys for input.

Re: Which red to use?

I dont like red, unless its dodge viper red. It is the "reddest" red I have ever seen. As far as I know its just pure red pigment. My friend has the only red car (2nd gen T/A) I have ever liked. I think the color is from 1997 or so... HTH

What's wrong with black? If you must change the color, Blue Blood Red from HOK.

I like the A4A off the 2010 mazda and I also like the Mataor red off the 2010 Lexus IS 250 but it is not a solid red

Re: Which red to use?

Torch Red on the 05-09 Mustangs is nice. I had an 07 that color and it is a vibrant true red. I think changing the color to red from black is a great idea as long as you do it right and get the jambs/under the trunk and hood painted. Red will show less dirt and require less maintenance than black if you are a picky person (as I am). I'm sure any of those reds will look great. I love a red third gen.

Re: Which red to use?

well my daily driver is black and well although it looks nice, i must say that even the smallest dents stand out on it. on that car i looked around for weeks till i found the darkest black i could find, just to realize later that it was a bad idea. Back to the camaro, yes i was also considering torch red but that of the fourth gen fbodys, i believe i saw it on a firehawk or formula. I mixed a gallon of the A4A mazda red for a customer at work the other day and loved the orange red color just not sure if it would look good on the car

Re: Which red to use?

GM code 81 Bright Red is a nice color. compliments a lot of other colors if you decide to go with some two-toning.
