91-92 front air dam mounting...

Are there any differences in the mounting holes from an 85 IROC and the 91-92 Camaro? I have a factory front "air dam" and want to mount it to the front of my 85 IROC, but think the newer part needs small "slits" cut into the fenders. Can anyone help here? Hopefully I am making sense...

the front facia should bolt up, but you are right, the 91-92 fenders have slits in them. when i swapped my 87's facia to a 91-92, i just cut those plastic pieces off and just bolted it on to the inner wheel well. i didn't want to buy new fenders for that; mine looks like any other.

good luck

Thanks, does the air dam flex at all without the tabs? I figure I could either do as you did, or take measurments from my 91 and cut the slits in the 85 accordingly.
