Help, It's raining hard right now.. and I've got water coming out of the drivers side floor vent.. I've never had the problenm before.. How is it getting in.. I suspect the fresh air intake at the base of the windsheild.. I've closed the vent for now.. but If I open it I bet I'll get a flood of water... Please any help would be great.

sure its not antifreeze???? The door vent should not allow water into the cabin of the car. Afterall its halfway up the door frame. Thats what the door seal is there for. If it is water and not coolant better start checking the dool seals.
No, not the one in the door opening... the one above your feet & brake pedal.. I don't know if the cars with no A/C have it.. but I don't have A/C and I have manual controled vents for the drivers side & passenger side. I have no water coming out of the passanger side. just the driver side.. why I don't know.

Sure its not anti freeze??? thats a heat/cool air duct. It is possible it is anti. but if its not then I have absolutley no clue what it could be. it'll be some broken weld somewhere in the firewall and the plastic duct would have to be cracked and ect ect.... Its very possible it can be coming in from the cool air duct under the hood...(I forgot about that) the drain valvu from that could be clogged and then the water would travel inside. The more I think about it the more I think that is the prob.
duh I posted this before reading the rest of the privious posts I was thinking of this today. I would suggest taking off that scren and taking a look.

I have similar problem and I think it is comming from the fresh air intake like you said. I will take a look at it tomorrow and see what I could find. I let you know as soon as I fix the problem...
Yes it is coming in from the cool air duct.. I guess I should have specified.. I'll check under the screen.. I hope it's just a clogged drain.. Thanks.

I found the leak on mine...I removed the screen and cleaned the inside. After removing all the mess, it was clear to me that the inside was rusting so bad that it made a BIG hole straight inside the car...Now my problem is how do I fix it? pls. HELP!!!!!
I think I found the problem with my leak too.. The seal on the wiper arm bracket was still wet, and that is right above the vent. SO I took it apart, put some silicone on, and put it all back together. I'll let it dry, then wash the car.. to test for leaks. But I do need to replace my t-top seals.. and I see thirdgen resource sells a new kit.
Good price too. Since my other leak is from the top front corners. and the last rain fall, my headliner & sun visors got wet. I manage to keep the visors from deforming. and the headliner is not dry. Eventually I'll get em all...
