How do I take the front dash apart?

I have the gauge cluster , top of the dash and bottom passenger kickpanel off, but I need to take out all of the venting and trace all of the wires behind the dash, so how do I remove the rest?

First you disconnect all the wires under your dash on the driver side around the steering column & anything else thathas a plug. Then you disconnect the wires going to the engine compartment on both sides. on the passenger side there are 2 or 3 (depends on wether or not you have FI. Then there is a firewall box on the driver side all the way to the left of the car. You will need to unscrew it.

Then unplug all of your center console wires.

remove the dash pad, and remove the 5 or so 7mm screws on top (Keep the center screw in that has the metal bracket.)

Remove the 2 10mm bolts from under the dash on either side.

There might be one or 2 in the middle for the radio & heater cluster.

Hope that helps

John
