Is this a permanent windshield banner?

This is not on my Iroc but on my daily driver. My Buick T-type has "Regal-T"
on the top of the windshield. It was like that when I got it. I hate windshield banners. I tried using adhesive remover and a razor to take it off. It won't even chip a corner. It has a rough crystal surface. Almost like it is etched on there. Anyone heard of this?

The easiest way to remove it if it is infact etched in, would be to replace the windshield.

sorry,

John

I work at a detail shop, and we get that kinda crap off with windex, steel wool, and a razor.

How To Do It: Spray windex on the thing to be removed, take the razor and start peeling the sticker off. Spray more windex and use the steel wool to get the adhesive glue off. Then clean the window. CAUTION: Always keep the sticker and the glass around it wet with windex!

Hope that helps!
