I'm surprised at how good that looks. It gives the rear of the car a somewhat 1st- or 5th-gen coupe look. I'm not sure it matches with the pointy 3rd-gen nose, but I still like it.

I would move the pillar forward a bit (to shorten the roof).Then put the rear window inboard (just past the seatback), so the roof overlaps it.Plus make a trunk out of the decklid.Does look good though........do it!
