Does anyone have a cure for rattling t-tops? I own a 1990 Firebird Formula. I have already replace the weatherstripping twice. The first time I used aftermarket weatherstrips. Not only did they still rattle, but they also leaked. The second time, I used the 'Updated' GM weatherstrips. At the moment, they do not leak (knock on wood). But, they still rattle. I have determined that it is the t-top itself that is rattling and not the latch mechanism because I can physically push on the glass itself while driving and stop the rattling. It also might be worth noting that it rattles much more when it's hot outside. Thank you for any help!

were in the same boat buddy, and ive got sfc's. my car still rattles. i think it has something to do with my bad front alignment and blown shocks and struts. but yes, my t top (driver side especially) has been rattling a lot lately (and its been warmer). also, those darn (a, b?) pillars that run down from the front of the t top down to the dash pad rattle like mad. stupid car.

There is an adjusting screw under the top front pillars (where the T-top post slides into the hole). These are used to adjust the fit of the T-top. Upon replaceing my weatherstriping, I had to move mine to get a nice tight fit. For the pillar rattles, I used some body caulking by 3M and that did the trick.
Also, maybe you need to redo the seals on the T-tops themselves.
My weatherstripping kit came with new seals for the T-tops.
