Leaking Brake Fluid

I am leaking fluid from my prop valve is it time to get a new one or is the master cylinder what is bad. Sorry if I sound stupid I don't know much about brakes and I have searched for the last couple days and can not find what i am looking for. any advice I don't feel safe driving the care with it leaking brake fluid.

Where exactly is it leaking from? Pics would help alot. Your master cylinder is probably alright, as long as the brake fluid you're seeing isn't running down the lines from the master cylinder and dripping off the prop valve. Is it leaking from the fittings, or somewhere else?

Ok the proportioning valve is bad where do i buy a new or rebuilt one at a good price?

Junkyard one should be fine. Proportioning valves very rarely go bad. Are you sure its the valve itself and not the lines? It's not leaking around the threads is it? Just want to make sure you avoid as many headaches as possible.

Oh ok. I didn't see where/if you mentioned where the leak actually was coming from. In that case, I'd just hit the local junkyard and grab one.
