C5 Wheels And Big Brakes

Is anyone using OEM C5 wheels on their 3rd gen? I want to use the largest rotor and caliper that will fit. 17's front 18's rear. Doing a search I couldn't find anything.

This was hard to find

very first thing in the stickies on the brake board if you can't find the combo on here then PM e-mail or call ed miller on here. I am pretty sure it is on the sticky somewhere but can't gaurantee it.

I saw that thread. What I was hoping for that some one is using a 14 inch, one piece rotor. Maybe should have titled this tread 14" rotors and C5 wheels. I found a 13" kit but need to know about the 14" before I buy.

Re: C5 Wheels And Big Brakes

Ebmiller has a kit that uses a z06 14" rotor and standard c5 caliper. That MAY fit but I doubt it. That's about your only option. If you want 14" rotors just pick up two sets of c5 wheels and run rears all around. That's what I did.

CTS-V Brembos will fit under a 17" wagon wheel using a c6 z51 13.4" rotor though. And the new Camaro's Brembos look like they have the same lug mounting points as a -V caliper so you may be able to get a brembo that says chevrolet and be CHEAP (Like $100/per caliper cheap).

I had c5 13" under the 17s and 14" c6 z06 under the 18s.
