brake lights broke

I have an 89 Trans Am 5.0 with no brake lights now. I have checked my brake switch at the brake pedal and found it to be functional. I dont have the wiring diagram to trace further the wiring to the next place to check. Can anyone help?

Re: brake lights broke

Most of the time it's not the 10' long straight wire that goes bad, its something at either end, so pull the rear lighting assembly and pull the bulbs out of their socket in the box. Check to make sure all wires are firmly in their connectors, and then check to make sure you didn't blow any bulbs themselves.

Check fuses also, and as for wiring diagrams I only have them for camaros sorry :/

You didn't pull the fuse for the interior dinger/buzzer, did you?
