hey guys i have c6 z06 rotors an ctsv calipers in the front with c5s in the rear what size rim do i need an what offset. i dont want to mess this up cause i know not many people if any on this board have this setup.
front should be 19's, might be able to squeeze them in an 18, however the design of the wheel has a lot to do with the wheels fitting over the brakes as well as the offset.
What width are you looking at, and what wheels? you cant always get the correct offset for 3rd gens, you may need spacers as well.
C6 zo6 wheels would fit, but you would need spacer
so i just found 2 rear 18" c6 chromies with 9.5 width an 65mm backspacin with 295 dragradials what kind of spacer do i need for these? also since they are the c6 standard 5 spoke what offset should i get in the front to make life easiest
With the brake upgrade you can subtract roughly another 0.3" for the thickness of the hub, so that leaves you at ~2.25" adapter.
I am not sure if the 295 drag radials will fit up front, but i've heard of people running 275s up front with little issue (minor rubbing at full lock).
If you went with replica c6 wheels you can probably find a wheel with a smaller offset, which will reduce the thickness of the adapter that you would need.
the 2.25" adapter would be if you ran those rims on the front. This site will tell you how to calculate the correct adapter thickness for the front and rear:
