Just went to check drums on the setup and I had to drill holes out for wheels studs because of after market axels and when they slid on they seem to be flush with the axle mount but are not flush with the backing plate completely. I dont know if this is how they are suppose to be or not. The backing plate is visible by possibly 1/4 in or so. Is this how the drum should sit?? Having the moser 9" I was told to buy drums from a 70 chevelle and thats what I have for backing plates and all of the parts, so I should be fine but im not sure if the offset is off or something either tho ? Thanks for any advice and help! Should have kept old rear end until I was done to reference DOH!!

But I dont know if the drums from a thirdgen and a 9.5" drum would be the same setup anyway as in drum to backplate space( I know theres differences between the two)
