Drum question

I removed the parking brake stuff from my car because it broke before and I have always just left in in 1st anyway so I did not replace it. My question is I have a new rear end and I found a website to show how to install the rear drums (9.5 rear drums off a 71 chevelle) but it have the piece for the rear parking brake that is on one side of the drum and the piece that goes from side to side from that. Do I need these pieces for the brakes to work properly if I dont have a parking brake? I know the description is a little vague so I will attach a picture showing what pieces I hopefully dont need. No if you arent planning on using a parking brake for whatever reason (not a good idea IMO, but whatever) then you can just ditch the red piece, the spring on it, and that white brake lever. IIRC there is also a spring under the white brake lever between it and the shoe.

I was wondering what the names of the pieces I have shown in the picture attached are called and will I be able to buy them at a autozone or advance auto place? Thanks for the help.

I don't know about the pins from the wheel cylinders but I know where you can get the orange piece

Just went to check drums on the setup and I had to drill holes out for wheels studs because of after market axels and when they slid on they seem to be flush with the axle mount but are not flush with the backing plate completely. I dont know if this is how they are suppose to be or not. The backing plate is visible by possibly 1/4 in or so. Is this how the drum should sit?? Having the moser 9" I was told to buy drums from a 70 chevelle and thats what I have for backing plates and all of the parts, so I should be fine but im not sure if the offset is off or something either tho ? Thanks for any advice and help! Should have kept old rear end until I was done to reference DOH!! But I dont know if the drums from a thirdgen and a 9.5" drum would be the same setup anyway as in drum to backplate space( I know theres differences between the two).
