i've noticed, ever since i swapping in a ls1 master cylinder, that after a drive there is always brake fluid on the reservoir. Its coming from the cap, but the seal is in great shape, no cracks tears ect. Any ideas? If the master was bad could it be pushing fluid back into the reservoir?

"fool proof, yes. idiot proof, no."
i have not figured it out yet, the reservoir is not overfilled as far as i cat tell, but there is always from leakage after i drive, comes from under the cap on the driverside, runs down onto the wheel well and down to the base of the firewall.
the master is a upgrade overstock, almost a direct bolt on.
What are the benifits... what makes it an upgrade? I've been reading that it has better internal baffles but is there anything else? What are the benifits of better internal baffles?
All I really want to know is if it is narrower then the stock part. I've read that it is ~1/2" shorter (closer to the firewall) but I can't find any info on the width. I'm running enough camber right now that I have to pull off the master cylinder cover just to adjust my koni strut. Can you help with this?
Thanks,
Mike

Not sure what brake setup you have, but a possible solution is the pistons in the calipers are retracting back into the caliper too far. ei, their not staying adjusted.
I have this problem currently, my rear calipers wont stay adjusted so I have to push the pedal twice to get the rear pistons to the discs.....so when the pistons come all the way back into the caliper all the fluid the pistons displaced comes out of master cylinder.

This may be your problem.
havent thought of that one, but im quite sure its not the issue. The pistons seem to stay adjusted. even if they didnt, disc done use a lot of volume to operate, just pressure.
as for my setup, its the stock booster, LS1 master, 1le prop, c5 zo6 fronts, ls1 rear discs.
