caliber bolts keep loosening up

ever since upgrading to ls1 fronts the bolts that mount my ls1 bracket to my spindle keep coming loose. i used loc tite with no results, one bolt actually came off today, i will need to replace it but what can i use to keep the bolts from loosening. my car does vibrate alot because of the drop and suspension woes any special bolts or locking material to use,

Try safety wire, the perfect solution for a problem like this.

Interesting. With the bolt torqued to spec and with red Loc-tite, I've never experienced any problems with my 1LE set-up. 87's right though, little worry with safety wire.

James, I seem to recall hearing other people having the same problem with the LS1 setup. Not sure why it would be LS1 specific though.

Red threadlocker (Loctite) and sufficient cure time should do it but I do recommend the wiring, it's practically fail safe.

The other thing is to be sure that both the bolt threads and the spindle threads are degreased and dry. Then apply the locktite (red, #271), torque to spec and allow to cure for at least one hour before driving the vehicle.
