Brake lights.. help!

Both of my brake lights stopped working in my 1986 Iroc-z Camaro yesterday. I was told to first check the fuses, then change the bulbs if the fuses were fine, then replace the brake light sensor if neither of the first 2 solutions fixed it. Problem is I don't know where the brake fuses are located in my car or the brake light sensor.
I am new at working on my car and I don't know very much yet but I have potential.

Help please.

Re: Brake lights.. help!

The brake light switch is located under the dash on drivers side attached so it makes contact with the brake pedal. Just lay on the floor and look up at the pedal and you will see it. It should be fairly cheap. The fuses will be in the fuse box under the drivers side of the dash. Im not sure if there is there is a realy for the brakes. Fyf you should have three brake lights.

Re: Brake lights.. help!

Alright I put new bulbs on it, checked all the fuses, and tested the brake switch.
Everything is good except neither the brake lights or the hazard lights are working.
Wiring issues?

Fixed the problem.
The positive wire going to the fuse was no good so I ran a new wire and bypassed the fuse box.
