not grabbing at all

so i noticed my driver side front brake would squeak a little so i pulled the wheel off and took off the brake pads to see what they looked like. they were still good. well when i was trying to put the caliber back on i noticed i was gonna have to sqeeze the piston back in some just to get it on the rotor. so i got it in a bit just enough to where it fit good. when i dropped the car and took it for a spin i realized i only had the front passenger brake working. so i pulled the wheel off and it still wasnt closing no matter what i tried doing. any suggestions?

It's kind of hard to decipher that.... but from what I gather one of your front calipers isnt grabbing. If thats the case you should be able to feel the car snatching to the side when you brake.

Get a new brake line and caliper for that side and replace em. The line will cost more than the caliper.

If i'm understanding you right, you didn't have this problem to begin with. Just some squeeks. If that's the case you should double check your work. Take it all back apart and make sure everything back together right, no kinked lines or anything. Compare with the other side if you need to. I wouldn't just start buyin parts until you've double checked your work.
