best brakes for 16in iroc rims.

hi well my brakes on my 87 iroc well in 1 word SUCKS! they take for ever to slow down all the way on the brake. i belive its because she was sitting for 5yrs in my driveway and well they got rotten and all and well they are fine for now because she is rarely driven but im going add a bunch of performance upgrades and going defintly need new brakes so what do you suggest that are good for just street use, give good stopping power nothing dramatic but better then adverage brakes, and that will fit and that are decently cheap. thx

You don't say whether you have drums or discs, but either way a brake 'tune up' would probably be a place to start. For example, if you have discs, perhaps new rotors, pads, and braided lines, along with a fluid change, would be a good idea. thx sorry they are disks i belive. i have the optional brakes and everything so you can order the 350tpi only thing i dont have is the 350tpi i have the 305tpi
