| squeal squeak
| so i get the brake grind squeal squeak blues here. took off the wheels looked at the pads and rotors all good in the front. took off the back wheel drums and shoes are all good. it doesnt make noise all the time just sometimes. i remember when i did my front brakes a while ago i lost a spacer i think in the front passenger side caliper. and i went under way for 6 months shortly after that. the rotors had a light coat of surface rust on them. the rust is gone as i have driven the car. would that missing spacer be the cause of my squeal sqeak grind? i can get one made easily if i need to. | | |

1987 Trans am. 5.7 bored .060 over, 600 cfm holly carb, edelbrok preformer intake, hooker headers, comp cam dur 262/270 lift 464/470 lobe seperation 114*, 700r4 tranny, stock rear end, ws6 suspension, next mods to come: t56 trans, posi rear end with a 3.73. then the stroker kit. |
