centerline wheels to hot to toutch


i just installed a set of centerlines on my 92 rs and took ot for a ride when i got back the front wheels were to hot to touch is this normal are they just drawing the heat from the brakes and is this a good thing or is there a problem in not seeing and how hot can you get them before they start to corrupt the tires

its most liekyl heat transfer. Could just be normal, or you could have a brake issue that causing them to heat up more and faster than normal.

As we talking really warm or melt your skin hot?

Im running centerlines on my car too. They also get very hot after driving. It has never caused any issues though.

the wheels do not get hot on their own . (unless they are radioactive) my bet is that your front flex brake lines are bad . they can/will collapse internally and act like check valves . this can cause the brakes to not release when pedal press. is released . replace them . good luck .

I replaced my flex lines about a month ago but then again I havent checked to see if the wheels have been hot since then. Ill have to check tonight after work.
