Brake light won't go out!

No, my tail lights don't have any problems. I'm talking about the warning light. I've narrowed the problem down to the pressure warning switch in the proportioning valve under the M/C. Yes, I've looked for leaks. I've cleaned everything under the car and stomped on the brakes several times and found nothing. I've bled and re-bled the brakes. I've disassembled and reassembled the rear drum brakes (had to adjust them after cleaning up both adjusters), and closely examined the cylinders for leaks and found none. I have a hard pedal where it's supposed to be hard, and so is my parking brake, and still the dang light won't go out. I've gone down the flow chart in the FSM and the step I'm stuck at is where I am supposed to replace the switch to see if that helps (light goes out when the switch is disconnected)... Except for the fact that I can't find the switch ANYWHERE. Do I REALLY have to replace the entire proportioning valve just for the switch?

Also, there is one more thing I can try with bleeding the brakes... I had to do this a few years ago when I accidentally bled air INTO the M/C after I replaced the front calipers and had to change the BLACK fluid that was in the system (bled a whole freaking GALLON of fluid through the whole system that time!). There is a suction cup attachment to my MityVac that I can use to bleed the valve and the M/C... I'll try doing that tomorrow, but if it doesn't work, I suppose I'm stuck... And I need that brake light OUT to pass inspection besides .
