brake light wont go off/ no brakes on van wyck

i was driving on the van wyck out hear in new york and when i press on the brake i had none. so the next day i bleed the brakes but my brake pedal is not as hard as its supposed to be. and the brake light wont go off. what should i do bleed the master cylinder, replace the master cylinder, or change the brake booster.

Light is on due to what is called a pressure differential switch. In a nut shell you got a leak cuz the light is on and you don't have a hard pedal
