what rotors to go with?

alright I got a few choices to make on what rotors o and calipers to go with, to the rotors a few options, I could go with the plain flat rotors, drilled, cross drilled the ones with the wavy lines across it, or the the cross drilled and drilled with the wavy lines and the drilled dimples. Now for the calipers, I have herd good things about wilwood calipers? O and I still wanted to retain the ability to do a whole shot, but I am not sure I would be able to do that with rear brake calipers instead of break drums?

powerstop is a great rotor. i use them on all vehicles i own. from camaros to big suv's. i buy the drilles and slotted ones.

In this case the best thing to do is to upgrade the brakes. In all seriousness the stock brakes are not worth putting performance parts onto.

Can go with C4 standard brakes: 12" rotor with PBR calipers. C4 HD brakes: 13" rotors and larger PBR calipers. Then there are the C5 brakes and LS1 brakes. First thing to do is to check which brakes will fit inside the wheels on your car.

That will dictate which ones you can go with. Then stock off the shelf rotors will work for high performance use.

I went with the C4 standard brakes and they are night & day better then the stock 10.5" rotor brakes.

I take it that the front spindles need to be replaced to the 1LE type for the non-ABS C4 brakes?

The stock spindles are used and get modified. Cut the caliper mounts off, drill out and tap two holes for the brackets. Then bolt everything on. There is a great thread on fitting C4 brakes on the front, either in this board or the FAQ board. Has everything you need to know.

I have seen the modification of the spindle on a Trans Am site on the web linked from here. Btw, there is someone on Ebay currently selling 1LE spindles for $1,000.00. Yikes.
