I just gutted the rear portion of my stock combination valve and installed a Wilwood rotory style proportioning valve. My question is where does everyone have theirs set?

Driving the car now, with the rears getting full line pressure, will cause the rears to lock much before the fronts. Test the car on short hops, preferably on some loose surface (so they'll lock more easily and not flat spot your tires), and back the adjuster knob out on turn at a time at first, and then by half turns, until the rears lock just after the fronts do.
Thanks that helps. But I am currious where everyone found theirs to be the best spot.
I am also crazy and totaly over thinking it but when I bleed the brake it seemed that I got more fluid out when the valve was adjusted to decrease flow by 57% (min flow). I know about the whole volume vs velocity thing and this valve only decreases flow. But I thought that it would be the other way around??
Anyhow I did bence bleed the master two times and pulled about a quart of fluid out of the rear bleeders. I guess I will find out in the spring.
I have never had the master off my car so I have never Bench Bleed it before. I mounted my proportioning valve just in front and to the right of the master. I haven't touched it sense I set it 3 years ago when I put in the posi with disc rearend.
put it in the middle and see how it works, adjust as needed. If you can do the testing on a gravel road, try to get the rear brakes to look up just after the fronts, not before. its easier on a gravel road because you wont wreck your tires
