| 1985 IROC
I got an 85 IROC-Z with the rare L69 305 HO. engine just had a 1800$ rebuild. I had it bored 30 over, high performance oversized pistons, comp cam. Thats bascially it on the rebuild, mainly stock but its totally rebuilt. (roughly 220 hp they said) Trans is a borg warner 5 spd that is new, shifter is lowered, just cost me 700 after labour and a new input shaft. Exhaust cost me another 550- hooker shorty headers and hooker cat back with aerochamber muffler. odometer reads 220K kilometres. the worst part of this car- the body, the 2nd worst part- nothing. i have done everything but the body work and i just ran out of money, im going to school. it has 4 almost new tires. 235/60/15 cobras on the front, 255/60/15 cobras on the back. I have a set of 4 michelin pilots that are 245/50/16 that i bought with intent to get iroc wheels for it but never did, those tires are worth alot but sorry no pics of tires.
