1992 RS Z03 in Virginia

Has the 305 TBI and 5-speed with 135000 miles. I have installed headers, three in. exaust, underdrive pullies, open air element, wonderbar, and a chip that I personally tuned with the help of some of the members on the TBI board. The car also has just about every option offered in the RS model and I have a picture of the RPO if anyone wants it. The car sounds good and runs strong. The interior is also in very good shape, and the car is being sold locally. I would like $6,000, but if anyone thinks my asking price is too much or too little please let me know, I'm open to opinions. I know the car is rare, but just how rare I am not sure.

My pictures are too big to post so if you want pics please let me know your e-mail

Alot of people will say that price is too high. I would put it up on Ebay personally. The mileage is alittle bit too high to put in hemmings, even though your car looks spectacular in that picture you posted. Looks exactly like mine did before i totaled it, and mine only had 49k miles. Is that a repaint? I dont know if its the angle or what but the stripes look alittle off ...

Anyway, i would venture a guess that if the rest of the car looks as good as it does in that shot, you might be able to get 5-6 grand on ebay. Doubt anyone on this site will pay that though.

Also, what color interior does it have??

Thanks a mack6 for the compliments and advice. It is the original paint job, and I just clicked on the image and it does make the stripes look a little fuzzy but they are in perfect shape.

It has red interior that is in very good shape except the driver side seat has a small hole where a spring came loose and poked through. I thought my asking price would be a little high on this site but it seems like people here have a realistic view on how much these cars are really worth and I was curious on y'alls opinions.

If I can't sell it locally or on ebay by the middle of August for at least 5500, I'll consider any offer anyone here would want to give. Everything that I have done to the car I have done with the help of people and information on this site and it would be nice if it stayed in this community.

Why are you selling it BTW?

Some more advice i would give (even though im sure some of it is common sense). If you do put it on Ebay, put as many pictures as possible--like 10-20 atleast. Also make sure to take the pictures in good lighting (the lighting in the pic you posted is kinda off). Personally, i think $5500 might be alittle bit of a stretch. On the one side, Heritages are pretty rare these days, especially in respectable condition, its a hardtop, and you do have a 5-speed (which is another rarity). But on the other side the white and red combo was the most popular (therefore there is no shortage of white/red cars) and it does have fairly high mileage.

Like i said, i would think that you could probably get around 5 for it on Ebay. Just make sure its fully detailed, that will really help alot.

Thank you for the feedback and the bump mack. To be honest with you, I just really want a Z28. I have been looking on this site for a while researching what would be involved in a swap to a 350 and I have realized that I don't have the money or ability to pull it off. It would save me a lot of money to just sell my car and buy a Z28 with a 5.7 already in it. I still have not recieved any offers on the car and if I still haven't by the end of the month I think I'm going to do as you sugguest and put it on ebay. BTW, as of right now, 5500 is only an asking price and I am open to any offers or trades.

Oh i know what you mean about the Z28. I never drove my RS fast or beat on it, but there were many times when i wish it had a better engine in it. In fact, im flying out in Illinois on friday to pick up my new baby (unless there is something wrong with it that was no advertised!) which just so happens to be a Z28! I cant reveal any more details about the car until i get it home though and post some pictures. I've been keeping it a secret from the other board members until i actually have it!! Hopefully you'll still be around the site in the next week to check out the topic that ill post (w/ pictures) in the Apperance and Detailing section...
