If you have 80K in that car and did not post some pictures I will trade you beach property worth 100K, just out side of Phoenix (near the beach).
I LOVE that beach heck of a deal. You can't beat beach front property in the DESERT

Could we have a name change over here for this guy.... Z RETARTED IROC.
Moderators with all respect - I think we need some help here.
Comments like these and the others at the top are not constructive and run the potential of representing a culture contrary to the more relational atmosphere that makes TGO the helpful and friendly web community that it is.
I am in the process of looking at the pics of this car and reading emails from this seller.
This is a stand out car - one of the best I have seen from what I can tell in terms of a severely modded car. With today’s prices for parts and labor - it could be conceivable that a car could cost a lot of money to build. My father builds 80K classic cars all year long. I have seen the parts lists run high. Parts are at a premium whether the car is a 69 Camaro or an Iroc.
Who knows if the car cost 80K? It could have. I see expensive late model cars all of the time. If you have the dream and the cash - go for it.

We should not bash this guy like this.
Thanks for reading.
Contrary to your beliefs, if an individual invested $80k in any vehicle and try’s to take a $65k loss seems devious to me. If you are able to verify all expenses invested in this vehicle, and the seller is truly an honest person who can justify his expenditure, then my friend you have purchased a gold mine. I personally feel that $80k invested in a third gen is unrealistic, but not imagined. If this person can show proof of his investment, is honorable, and follows through with his intention, then my friend I would say you have been blessed with a great deal. Until then I will keep an eye out on this transaction.

I agree it does seem bizzare that someone would take the loss. The amazing thing is - it happens more often than we realize. It is just name calling and such does not help. Just trying to help this guy out. Last comment regarding this flow of dialogue.
If you have over 80K invested I would definately be interested in any and all pics to jmortiz_22@yahoo.com

Now whos the one calling names? I have seen 16 year olds take care of their cars more than an older person it kind of depends on the kind of person you sell the car too. I am 21 now and I know I would take better care of that car than most of the older guys I know. So if you dont want names called at you dont name call at others.

I agree. I am 17 and I have a 1983 camaro and I take very good care of it I am fixing it up to be a nice car and I know alot of older ppl that beat the living piss out of there car so dont judge on the age of the person
I personally know the owner of this vehicle. I have seen it several times. The last time I saw it was a few years ago, before he did a few things to it. The car is beautiful! I have several pictures of it also. it looks like a blue IROC-Z (perfect paint) with ZR-1 Rims(last time I saw it) and 91-92 Ground effects. It has a chrome bar below the door moldings with IROC-Z embossed on it. If I had what he's asking, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I also know the owner personally. This car is hands down the nicest and baddest Iroc-z I've ever seen. I wanted to buy it so bad a few years ago. But it wasn't for sale. I'd buy it now but I'm saving my pennies for a 5th gen. here's a ttt for yah Dave.

BTW John do you remember me I bought the white Iroc from yah
Im 21, ive had this car since i was 16
