I've seen the outside of this car in person, and it is pretty damn sweet. The yellow looks awesome on this body. If you buy this car, you will get attention wherever you go, it just stands out.
where are you in massachusets? i live in va. send me some more pics at eheidel227@earthlink.net. im lookin for an 86-88 driver and have cash.
Tell me what pictures you want me to take....the car runs and drives great..may have a slight exhaust leak..but hey its 20years old ..on a serious note..this car has been brought back to a real nice driver(no show car but looks great)...ever time I look at it I want to keep it and drive it but I am in the process of reviving others and something has to go
I am currently living in South Windsor CT. I have been looking for a good F-body for a quite a while. Could you send me pics of the interior, exterior, and under the hood?

Rusty, if you live that close, just drive to Fred's place and look at the car in person/hear it run. I saw it again today, and it looks awesome. He also has other third and fourth gens for sale, so you are almost guaranteed to find a car to buy if you are seriously looking.
Also, was this originally a 305 car and then you dropped in the 350 or was it a stock 350. I never knew they had t-tops on 350 cars.
This isn't my car, but my understanding is that this is an original L98 t-top car. The t-tops aren't the aftermarket kind, they are factory. First year for the L98 TPI, apparently the only year you could get that motor in a yellow Camaro, and it has t-tops. If I wasn't dead broke at the moment, I'd buy this car.
There is a recent thread in the History section of this very forum that discusses the whole t-top/350 issue. That combo WAS available, but not every year, and not on all F-bodies.
I'm sure when Fred gets out of work he'll chime in here.

I really don't get how cars like this sit. New paint, solid, 350 TPI, under 5 grand, and it sits? Doesn't make much sense. Someone is gonna get a sweet ride.
I checked the car out today, and I agree; definitely a sharp car. Chic magnet for sure. I am certain that I will take advantage of the deal. I mean considering the large numbers of Third gen Camaros produced, I think a YELLOW 350 TPI (orig. L98) with factory T-Tops is a rare find. Also, I found out it was manufactured wih a factory BOSE stereo. I think that this car had some sort of power package or something of the sort.
Also, I made another interesting observation - the car has a rust preventative coating applied to the underbody, as well as the wheel wells. I think with a little money put into the engine this car will be running like a champ....NO pun intended..

There was a guy on here recently who had either some or all of the Bose parts for sale. I actually have a set of the kickpanels, not mint but not broken, minus the speakers.
You could put all that Bose stuff back in if you were patient enough to track down all the parts.
