Just curious who might be interested in this. First off I will list the negatives, because the positives will speak for themself.
Negatives: It's located in North Dakota. Who lives in North Dakota anyways?
The engine has 155k-ish miles. High miles, however, the engine has 0 leaks and looks / runs almost mint. This was an extremely well taken care of car.
Positives: Okay, the 700R4 was rebuilt approximately 10,000 miles ago (I no longer have receipts) and was built professionaly with a strong shift kit in it. Shifts very hard.
Secondly, almost the entire rear end was professionally painted (no flaws) almost a year ago. The rest of the car is original paint, however, it looks quite good, though not perfect.
The car is a HARDTOP. The engine runs, not driven through winters, and from the looks of it, has maybe never been. 1% rust on this car. The only rust spots are smaller than a dime, and in odd places. One small spot in the door jamb, few small spots under the battery box, but the rest of the underbody is RUST FREE. Even wheel wells are RUST FREE. Very clean car.
The interior is also just about mint. No wear on the seats, dash is perfect, switches do not have fading on them. All electrical equip in car work, including windows, door locks, hatch, etc.
The weather stripping is BRAND NEW!
I have driven this car 600 miles at a clip without a problem. Does not over heat, does not sputter, die, or have other spazms.
Though this car was not purchased for the engine, most of the components have been switched with remanned ones. Alternator, starter, almost ALL hoses have been replaced. Tie rods also replaced and recently had an alignment due to thsi.
This is a carb-ed car.
Brakes have been done extensively. Front disk, rear drums. Has some aftermarket rims which are decent.
This is a perfectly-running car.
Would be a perfect BODY to install your new engine in! Without a doubt!
I have many pictures which I would not mind sending, but if no one is interested, I will not bother posting them here, except the one in my sig.
If do find yourself interested in this car, put your email address here and I will send you a zip of all the pics I have of this black beauty.
Thanks guys and hope to hear from ya.
Also, price we are looking at is somewhere in the $4500 range.
Warm Regards!
