This car isn't mine, but I told the owner I'd get the word out, and what better place to find a good home for an old Z that needs some TLC?
The car is in Lafayette, Indiana
Anyway, what I know is that the car has 100,000 miles, all original as far as I can tell (minus the CD) I THINK it has the 350, not quite sure though...it has T-tops, automatic, red leather in okay condition, aftermarket CD, 25th anniversary package. It's in okay shape all around, but it really needs some tlc, has some sun damage, paint chips, faded paint, rims are nice, brand new tires, spoiler isn't cracked, plastic parts are starting to "spider-web" though, windshield has a crack, other than that though, it's in pretty decent shape. I only got a a few minutes to look it over, and the guy who's selling it doesn't know much about it, he doesn't even know what motor it has, and I didn't get to pop the hood. Some guy traded him the Z28 for his truck, and my buddy just doesn't have room or money to take car of it. He likes it, but he'd rather it go to a good home than rot in his driveway. It sounded nice and strong, he says he took it out on the highway and took it for a gentle cruise and he said it did fine. I told him I'd pass on the word. He wants $3000 for it. Personally, from what I saw, it looks like a good deal if someone wants to get her back in top shape.
If you want to know more about the car just PM me, I'm gonna try and get a good look at it sometime on Friday (if he hasn't sold it by then). If you want the owner's phone number to work something out, just PM me, but remember, he knows little to nothing about the car as far as how it was equipped from the factory and what it has in it, but he could give you the VIN number and such if you asked, as well as answer some basic stuff.
Well, I'm a firebird guy, and I wondered about that, because no firebirds had T-tops and the 350 in 91-92, and I wondered about the camaros too. Either way the car's been sold so I guess I'll never know.
