1987 IROC-Z, LT1, Mint.
I'm selling my baby. I've had this car since I was 19 and it's been my project for the last 5 years. I finally completed it about 2 years ago, and now I don't have the time to have fun with it :-(. I've put almost triple my asking price into this car so it hurts a lot to have to let it go. Let's get to the goodies.
The car has 11,800 miles on it. No, I'm not kidding. The previous owner bought the car brand new, reinforced the frame, and took it to drag racing only. He eventually got the car down to 9.4 seconds in the 1/4 mile. The body is in *pristine* condition, and the interior was wrapped in plastic during most of this cars existence. Hell even the seats in the car were wrapped in bags and never really sat in until I bought the car and put it back on the street. The car still smells dealer fresh on the inside. I've taken care of the paint using a meticulous Zaino process, it absolutely shines, I've taken 1st prize at a few car shows. The engine bay detailing is superb, considering it's a 19 year old engine bay with heavy customization.

I forgot my buddy posted a video of my car on Youtube. We just got back from a late afternoon car show and the video is shot using his digital camera. Not greatest quality, but you get to hear the car a bit.

It's all black interior. The digital camera tints it blue for some reason, but it's all black. Very classy for an '80s car.

Hooker Long tube headers, custom Y pipe, 3" piepes split over axle into Borla C4 mufflers. Pretty straight through flowing design. Loud at full throttle, but meek at idle.

It's a Weekend Warrior for sure. Can't really tell on the mpg, It's usually many months between fill ups for me, I just don't drive it much, not at all during winter. It'd be a safe bet to imagine the mpg would be in the teens.

Kudos on the car
The link for pics says that it's expired. I'd luv to see more pics of it. So what is the status of the car? Any recent times, what brand (mustang, dynojet, etc.)was the 371hp#?

I've never ran it aside from Gtech on a street before. I'd say with slicks this car will hit high 11's or low 12s. It did 12.4 on the street with bad traction and letting the tranny shift itself (too low). The car did It's dyno run on a Dynojet.
I fixed the link for the pictures.
