1991 Camaro 350 engine restore. REPAINTED 3500obo

LOCATED IN BELLEVUE WASHINGTON 98008

1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS
Stock:305 5-speed
Replaced:305 with 350
Mileage on car-151k
Mileage on 350- unknown
VIN#1g1fp23e6ml199593

I bought this car three years ago for 2350, and paid for a paint job. It came with 140k miles on it. It now has about 151k. about 6 months ago, I decided that I wanted to remove the stock 305 and replace it with a 350. I bought a 350 from a guy who told me he had just taken it out of his camaro and had rebuilt it before it went into his car. He told me there were about 10k miles on the rebuild. The engine came out of a pre-80's Chevy truck. I didnt know that a pre-80's block wouldnt be exactly the same as the engine block i already had. after removing the stock engine, selling it, and putting in the 350, i realized there were a number of problems.
Because of these problems, I have paid for professional replacement of:
Fuel pump block off plate
intake air temp sensor
throttle body gasket
lightened flywheel
clutch kit
headers()
oil pan

Before the engine swap i had:
replaced stock muffler with Flowmaster 80's series
replaced stock springs with a 2 inch lowering kit
Repainted entire car.

The problem left is that the camshaft the guy i bought this from put into the engine is too big. so the idle is crazy. the shop guys told us that it would be best to replace the camshaft as well as the valves. They also said that if we're going to do that, we might as well replace the rings for the cylinders. The air conditioning is on the block, but because the bracket for that A/C unit is configured for a 90's head, only 2 of the 3 holes line up. because of this, the belt rubs slightly. The wheels could use new rubber. The car does run and drive, but it's not enjoyable because of the rough idle, if you sit for too long, the engine will stall.

Because I am already $4500 into this car over in the past 3 months, I am running low on patience and the money to finish. I hate having to sell it because of all the time and money i've put in, and its absolutely gorgeous. But I have written down all I know, or think you would want to know. Feel free to ask any questions. cadetduffy@yahoo.com If you would like to trade, I will only trade for a manual transmission vehicle.

$3500obo
