Pains me to do this but this one has gotta go, and I am letting it go for a good price.
I bought this car in July of 2005 and have done all routine maintenance towards the car since then. I am a semi-garage mechanic so I have maintained the engine myself but I do have all the service records that were done outside of the garage.
The transmission was rebuilt in February of 2006 and included is a 2 year warranty on all parts and labor. Car has 122,830 miles as of January 3rd, 2007
I have poured my heart and soul into this car, and the year I have owned it was definitely a hard one. The car runs great, and will get you from A to B just fine. New fuel pump was installed as of December 06' and you have a year warranty on that.
There are some small issues with the car, first off the hood shocks doesn't work, and the spring mechanism is a little shot. So it can be a pain in the butt to get the hood open sometimes, but usually a crowbar or something prys it open.
The paint is flaking off, and it is most noticeable on the roof, nothing a good paint job can't fix.
The heater works, but I wouldn't recommend using it, the windows fog up when you do, it could be something simple like a temp sensor or something big like the heater core. The heater core was changed out at 73k miles I know this for a fact.
Passenger side window motor has died out on me last year. All it needs is a new motor and you're set to go, the driver's side works perfectly fine.
Dashboard is cracked, blame that on the AZ heat.
A/C works fine as well, and have had no problems with it cooling me off during the summer and it can get pretty hot in AZ.
It's got the 305 TBI V8 engine in it with a 700R4 automatic transmission. I have changed out all the sensors and replaced distributor cap and rotor along with new spark plugs and everything so it is basically up to date on that. I also installed an Edelbrock Open Element Air Cleaner, and a bullet muffler with an exhaust cut-out.
