Up for sale is a beautiful 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Car is equipped with power windows, power locks, power brakes, and cd player. This vehicle was built for the sole purpose of being fast on the race track yet reliable enough to drive on the street and cruise the local hot spots. In order to do so the engine was stroked to 383 cubic inches yet compression was kept streetable (10.6:1) so it could be run on pump gas. There are countless hours of labor ensuring this beautiful vehicle was done correctly. It has about 50 passes on the bottom end and about 3000 street miles. The top end was just refreshed and has about 5 passes and 50 miles on it. This car has been to numerous car shows winning trophies and is featured in the Unfinished Business street racing DVD (which a copy comes with the vehicle during purchase).
The reason for selling is I recently finished my 5 year tour in the Military and being back home in a small town there is no track here and really nowhere to go with a car like this. There is aprox 20,000 invested in this vehicle not including the purchase price of the car itself. About 10,000 of that is in the engine alone. I have most receipts of the mods.
pictures are from before I installed the 9” rear, aluminum overflow tank, new bow-tie grille and relocated battery to trunk. They can be seen here under the Camaro heading:

EXTERIOR: blue
Nice shape for its age, 2 sections smaller than a dime peeled on drivers door and were touched up. Hatch needs a couple small spots touched up. The top of the spoiler does have light sun fade. Small scuff on lower passenger quarter but they’re both mostly covered by rubber, adds character.
Other than that and a few very minor scratches and dings the car is exceptionally nice and solid for 14 years old. It has spent most of it’s life in the Midwest so there is no rust what so ever on the exterior of this vehicle. Garage stored most of its life.
Hood is a Harwood fiberglass bolt-on unit that is still in its black gel-coat. I have opted to keep it black because I like the look.
Car has t-tops, and they do leak like most gm t-tops do, but I have new seals in the box for them included. Some people think that because the car has t-tops it is not stable. This can be remedied by sub-frame connectors which were installed on this vehicle before it was introduced to any violent acceleration.

The best pass on this vehicle is 11.14 @121.69 mph on et drags. this is with a mechanical water pump and 3.73 geared stock rear. All passes are on motor. The carb is out-of-the-box and has not been fine tuned. Although the car runs good I believe the a/f mixture could be better optimized resulting in even faster ¼ mile times. Also this car would highly benefit from an adjustable torque arm to correct the pinion angle of the 9” rear that’s now installed. Front drag springs and 90/10 struts would do a lot for the weight transfer as well. Definitely capable of high 10 sec e.t’s on motor. This vehicle also has a nitrous express twin-Gemini dual stage integrated plate system adjustable from 50hp - 800 hp. this kit retails for $999.00 it is installed and bottle is full but has never been used as I wanted to concentrate on the suspension before I put more power to it.
Although I hate to see this car go it is just not practical for me anymore so I am starting over.
THE THINGS THAT NEED ATTENTION:
The passenger window motor needs bolted better to inner panel and window is off track, needs help going up and down.
The few wires for the nitrous solenoids need spliced back together as they were cut to pull the intake when the top end was rebuilt.
