1992 Camaro RS For Sale - 406, Stealth Ram, 12 Bolt - $6500
This car is in Plano, TX, about 20 minutes North of Dallas.
I no longer have time to spend working on my car (new job, baby on the way, all that jazz), so I've got to sell the Camaro... I'm not sure how much I want to get for it yet, so please make me an offer. I've put well over $20,000 into this car over ther years (since 1998), and I've never completed the project. The car runs fine, seems very fast, and is overall pretty impressive (besides the paint....) It does need some TLC in the tuning department though. I've tuned and re-tuned, but since I don't know what I'm doing, and dont feel like paying someone to do it, I can't get my fuel right, so my headers glow if the car is idle for a bit. Here is a list of what its got:
1992 Camaro RS - Purple Haze Metallic
406 SBC:
Pro Topline Aluminum Heads
Scoprion Aluminum Rockers
Eagle 3D H-Beam Rods
Kieth Black Hyperutectic Pistons
Forged Crank (forget brand name, wasn't cheap , I probably still have the receipt)
Moroso 6-qt Oil Pan
High Volume Oil Pump
Holley Stealth Ram
Custom Braided-Steel fuel lines with AN fittings
Large Aluminum Radiator, dual fans (forget brand name of radiator, fans are from a 4th gen Camaro and still on the 4th gen shroud)
Heat O2 Sensor
Hooker Long Tube Headers, custom Y-Pipe to 4" Muflex "cat-back" (exhaust needs work for car to REALLY be drivable, it sits too low)
Custom Built 700-R4 with all upgraded internals, Vigilante Torque Converter (3500 stall I think?)
Strange 12-Bolt with 3.73 gears
Borbet Type T 17" Wheels:
Front: Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712 255/45/17
Rear: Kuhmo ECSTA Supra 712 275/40/17
The wheels came off a 4th gen. The FRONTS have spacers, the rear does not since the rear end is also from a 4th gen.
Gorilla Locking lug nuts (w/key)
All tires have excellent tread.
Spohn Subframe Connectors (old style, boxed)
Spohn Torque Arm (not the stock replacement, )
Tubular K-Member and A-Arms with Del-Alum Bushings (forget who made it, it was a custom deal) - Black Powder Coat
BMR Tubular Rear Control Arms with custom-made Del-Alum bushings (I had a machine shop make for me) - Silver Powder Coat
BMR Panhard Bar with Poly bushings - Silver Powder Coat
Cervini's Cowl Induction Hood (not yet painted)
Interior:
4th Gen Front/Rear Seats
Pioneer CD Player (stock speakers....yuck)
Autometer Ultra-Lite AFR and Fuel Pressure Guages
yous guys have to be kidding 4 or 5grand , i'd be ashaimed to offere that little- i see cars with less selling on ebay for 8-10, on another note my camaro has the tubular cross member and i am curious how it handles in the corners?
I would think around 10k is going to be the most you'll get for it. good luck. 5/6k i wouldn't even entertain. you probably have that in the motor alone!

I'm sorry, are you some sort of moderator? I swear... everyone thinks they have a huge pair of swingin' balls on the web....
Anyway... the car is still for sale. I'll let the car go for $9000 and I'll give you every camaro part that I own. I've got a few misc. parts laying around, the old gray interior panels, the old wheels/tires (http://flickr.com/photos/scottbauer/107788248/), and whatever else I can find.
stangetr: The car handles 'ok', I think. It's been a while since I've driven it... The tubular K-member that I have has special links for the Swaybar, and they aren't hooked up, so I'm sure cornering could be improved.

Well, I haven't been trying hard to sell the car here the last few months, but now it needs to go . I'll let it go for $7500. You'll get everything listed at the top of this post, and everything else that I have for it. This car just needs a new cam and a little love and it'd be pretty killer.
Re: 1992 Camaro RS For Sale - 406, Stealth Ram, 12 Bolt
I paid $6000 for this car when I got it in 1998. New motor, tranny, rear end, wheels, hood, seats, and suspension for an extra grand isn't a bad deal. No takers? I NEED this car sold ASAP.
Re: 1992 Camaro RS For Sale - 406, Stealth Ram, 12 Bolt
Well.. I still have the car, but now I need to replace the steering column... Some jackass decided to try his hand at swiping it, and he would have succeeded if it wasn't for the dead battery The steering column is trashed and there's a small amount of damage to the dashpad (which pisses me off more than the steering column...) When its all fixed up and purring I'll make another post... Unless you want to flatbed it to wherever you are.
