You guys need to get on top of this deal. If I was not already so $ deep into mine I would be trying to work a deal on this one. 83k miles, lt1 sitting in the engine bay, brakes and other stuff...do some math and the price is less than you would spend to assemble the parts.

For the mouse challenged.... below is the text from his craigslist....have to mouse for the pictures.

FROM CRAIGSLIST

1987 IROC-Z (2) owner car, 83k original miles, 1AZ, FE2, NM5/TTOP special order car, paint code U8774/red/grey interior, Bose (upgraded to 94 deck), 85 RPO codes, fully loaded, 92 leather seats there is the usual driver side tear on the seat, very clean interior, flash lt, day night mirrow, sometimes works, have spare for parts, hawks ttop shades, new headliner and sail panels, original mats, missing driver side, all decals on ***** excellent, have a new set of hatch and window switches, but yellow, dash has one small crack on the very end, not even noticable, 2 year old paint and decals, no bondo. This was my (adult) project car for 3 years and is very near completion I am purchasing another car and have been debating selling it for some time, and do not have the room for both, Upgrades consist of: 90% complete LT1 conversion, have wiring, needs to be installed to be complete, all parts included in sale, has been off the road since September for the conversion. 8k mile 95' LT1 block .030 over w/TRW forged skirt coated pistons, PM rods, LT4 hotcam kit, port matched alum heads, LT4 knock sensor, near new opti, 8mm accel wires, fuel/PS/AC/throtle lines all done, SLP 1 3/4 headers w/smog, N10/dual cat setup w/2 1/2 mandrel flow through pipes into 3 1/2 collector, into 3in SLP Power Flow exhaust, WC T-5 w/new 1-4 (Tremic) Gear set and input shaft, master o/h kit (The Gear Box), B/M short shifter, 15% over stock RAM clutch kit, fresh shave on f-wheel, SLP aluminum drive shaft (from 02 SS w/10k miles),10bolt 28spline posi GM 3:73 gears, fresh bearings, (extra set of 28 spline axles), new clutch hyd's, all new front suspension MOOG, poly, upgraded 34 mm FE-2 front bar (only 32mm on 305 cars), Z06 (new GM powder coated corvette callipers), 13/12in brakes, EARLS lines, LS1 rear carriers mounted in the 3rd gen position, new E-Brake lines, new 245/275/40/ZR,17s' yokohama's, Lots of extra parts (all are included in the sale): All parts for LS1 front brake conversion, and rear LS1 callipers, (2) top hatted non 1LE camaro rotors, (2) 92 f/spindles for the LS1 front brake conversion, original T-5 with fresh rebuild, original 9bolt rear 3:47 posi small brakes, 89' 9bolt w/2:73 posi pbr brakes w/rebuild kits, complete, extra 88' Bose hatch red,and front bose complete kick panels all work excellent, alot of extra parts, too much to list, I am clearing it all out, you will not be disappointed at all, there is a dent on the R/F fender from a parking lot incident, I will include a near perfect 86 Jamacian Yellow Iroc R/F fender, minor touch up on the bumper will be needed to be perfect, have extra set of grey door decals also. I will post pics tomorrow when I get home.

The Iroc-Z

You are very correct, You cannot put the car together in parts for this, I only put 3k miles on it in 4 years when the original TPI motor was removed, not daily driven, constantly upgrading it to become the best of 3rd parts you could get, Other than subframe conn, and some better rear susp parts, the car is almost there. You could sell all the other parts that go with it and easily fund more, I have alot more pics, and the RPO code list from the console door. I remember a car last year on the site that was totaled going for $6,000 w/simular parts, I couldnt believe it, The complete WC 5-speed setup could be sold for @$1,000, and easily fund a wrecked six speed car. I am only trying to get @90% of the money I have into it it parts, and bear in mind I obtained the car for a very low price, and did all the work myself, this is my 45th car I own, my first second and third cars were 70, 72 and 73 RS LT1 Z28's, I have been around the block and track a few times, most people do not understand that amount of hours and money it takes to put the car there, and start out with a good foundation car, This is already done.

Good to see the Cajun Boys building F bodies, I grew up in St Martinville, by New Iberia, When I started the brake conversion I was going to go LS1, I tophated two sets of rotors, a pair of B4C/1LE fronts, and a std Camaro set, that way I could go either way, already having all the LS1 stuff, I and I still have the 1LE calipers(new rebuilt), pads and 13in HD (J55 Vett carriers and 13in rotors), I probably have everything to do 13in/1LE HD's, and all LS1 parts as well, I couldnt pass up the Z06 Stuff, all I can say is the brakes are out of this world..........,I want to see how the car pans out on the sale, I am doing garage stuff today, and going to go through everything for a current status, and will get back with you later Jeff
