Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
well im not going to lower the price after i put the time and money into the paint.
the $3,500 is bottom dollar for the way its sitting right now. I'm already loosing a good bit selling it at that price.
I'll get some up to date pics. im working on gathering some new and missing parts. If i dont sell it before i move, im going to end up doing a LT1 swap.

Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
If somone were to be able to come and get the car before sunday the 29th, I'll let it go for $3,000 and i'll throw in all the 3rd gen parts ive got. such as a matching set of 90- front fenders, tail light blackouts, arm rests, cassette player...
If your interested please let me know. I can take pics of anything on the car. I dont want to put it on ebay.
Heres what the interior looked like when i bought it. nasty grey interior.
and now.

Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
I assume its still for sale?
Anyways, I would be interested for the right price as I'm in Toledo for a while. What makes it worth $3k? From the pictures on the site as well as cardomain it seems like that price is incredibly high

Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
First of all its a 3rd gen convertible
It's got the 305 and not the 3.1
Its 16 years old and has 106k miles on it. less then 7,000 a year
it's one of the best colors they were made in, Medium Q. blue.
I replaced the top and the interior with black insted of grey, there was nothing wrong with the grey, i just like black better. Its got 2 new metal bumper supports, the rear was rusted out like they all do up north. its got a new bumper cover, and drivers side fender. iroc hood, needs delt pulled. Has the 16" wheels with almost new tires and not the standard 15" wheels. leather... it just needs a decent paint job. which i would do it i had the time. If i dont sell the car its just gopt to sit for a few more years before i can bring it down south with me.
It's got a clean / clear title. and a clean carfax report. someday it will be a collectors car, might not bring as much as a Z28 but will be worth more than what need to be put into it.
I've got a lot more than $3,000 into it. I paid more than that for it.
$3,000 is the lowest i would ever go on the car. I didnt want to sell it for 3500 but would like to not have to worry about it being up here while im down south.

Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
Maybe I'm missing something here..
I will give you that KBB says just over 3k (in good condition) for it...but
You say that you are going to primer it this week, so I am thinking it is currently primer, and there aren't any real pictures of it posted with nice paint aside from your icon, but I don't see that picture anywhere else.
Also, your cardomain site says that it needs a stereo, front grill, dent pulled from the hood, weather stripping replaced, and top reglued. It also says that it leans in the same sentence that you say it was probably in an accident.
Am I missing something? I guess if the AC is cold, the car will be very enjoyable for you in GA.

Re: 1991 RS Convertible FS/Trade
good luck finding one for kbb price. I don't show the pics of the car when it was painted cause then people think the car is painted. same with the old wheels and springs i had on it.
It does need a front ground effect, i sold the iroc one i had so i could buy the right one, but i dont have the money for it now. I had a new bowtie grill but i gave it to the guy who bought my 91 Z28.
I dont have many pics of when it was painted. I lost a lot of them when my computer was reformatted a few years ago. I've reglued the top since i listed the car. But it does need 2 pieces oif weather strip. the 5th bow and the top of the passenger side window. It has a factory cassette player in it now, most of the pics i have are from a little while ago.
If it bothers you too much, just find another one. I'm not taking it to georgia cause i'm alreadt taking both of my SS's and one is a convertible. I sinply dont have the room to keep it anywhere, or any means of getting it there.
Im in no NEED to sell it, It's not costing me anything to keep it, just one less thing to worry about when moving.
I'll see what picks i can dig up of when it had paint on it. there was nothing wrong with the paint, just wanted it all one color after i replaced some of the front parts.
